This year my 100 Days Project is devoted to creating 100 abstract landscapes using collage - I describe the process in more detail here:
I really enjoy creating these landscapes and my main goal was to establish a daily practice - as much as possible. I’m really happy to say that I manage to fit in creating these pieces on most days and there were only a handful of instances when I skipped due to busyness and had to catch up next day. I am alright with it not being a perfect daily practice, I want to have fun, improve my skills and explore new things! Yay!
I think the key was to introduce enough limitations in order to make the project accessible and achievable, but also - to leave room for creativity. Even though all the landscapes are the same size and I only use collage, I have a feeling that there are almost unlimited ways to experiment with composition and this fact keeps me going without getting bored. In addition working with limitations is a great exercise to focus and learn about what I naturally prefer - colours, shapes, compositions, etc.
So here are days 18 to 51 (already halfway through, I can’t believe it!!).

Well done!
Already over 50 completed, well done. They're superb, and we never get bored seeing them appear day by day or in reports.
